    REAL F426E MECHANISM

Rear-Wheel Drive Until You Need More Traction

In 2WD, pedal power drives both rear wheels. Move the manual selector at low speed and the front-drive chain engages the front axle sprocket, adding drive to both front wheels while the rear axle continues working.

This is a mechanical drivetrain—not four electric hub motors. Use rear-wheel drive on ordinary firm ground, then engage 4WD for loose or complex sections.

    GEARING FOR EACH POWER SYSTEM

Low-Speed Control, Matched to the Motor Configuration

The single-motor configuration pairs an 18-tooth pedal chainring with the SRAM 11-speed cassette and its 42-tooth largest sprocket for controlled low-speed climbing. The dual-motor configuration uses the front mid-drive’s smallest available 44-tooth chainring. With assistance available from both motors, this 44T setup balances increased assisted speed with efficient climbing.

    FRAME-MOUNTED REAR DRIVE

Power Goes to the Axle—not Into One Wheel

The 1000W rear motor is mounted on the frame rather than inside a wheel. Its output sprocket drives the rear axle through a chain-and-sprocket transmission.

When the motor is off, the rear-drive design adds no motor drag that would prevent normal pedal riding.

Complete blue F426E showing four CST Roly Poly fat tires and ground clearance

    A PLATFORM FOR DIFFICULT GROUND

Four Large Contact Patches and Useful Clearance

Four CST Roly Poly 26 × 4.8 in fat tires provide flotation and grip across loose and uneven surfaces. The one-metre outside width supports stability, while 26 cm of clearance helps the chassis pass over ruts and raised trail features.

    • CST Roly Poly 26 × 4.8 in fat tires
    • 100 cm / 39.4 in outside width
    • 26 cm / 10.2 in ground clearance
    • 4.6 m / 15.1 ft turning diameter

    STEERING & BRAKING

Direct Control From the Recumbent Seat

    Dual-Lever Direct Steering

Independent left and right steering levers sit beside the rider for direct, low-speed feedback and a natural arm position.

    Four Linked Hydraulic Brakes

Each wheel has a Bengal hydraulic disc-brake caliper. The right lever controls both front brakes; the left controls both rear brakes. Parking locks on both levers can secure all four wheels.

Control note: the brake levers have no electrical brake-cutoff connection. Release the throttle before braking.

    RIDER FIT & PRE-RIDE SETUP

Dial In Your Riding Position Before You Ride

Comfort and control depend on more than seat angle. Before riding, adjust the front boom length for comfortable leg extension, position the headrest, and set the complete seat angle to suit your body and preferred riding posture. The nylon mesh seat includes a lumbar cushion and five angle positions, changing by approximately 3° per step from a standard position near 45°.

Recommended rider height is 175–200 cm. Under 175 cm? Contact TrikExplor before ordering; a custom seat adapter can reposition the seat for a more appropriate fit.

    BATTERY & CHARGING

Removable, Key-Locked and Chargeable On the Quad

Each 48V 14.5Ah battery slides into its rail and locks with a key. Charge it while installed or remove it without tools for indoor charging.

    BEFORE YOU ORDER

    F426E Buying Questions

Is the F426E always in 4WD?

No. Use rear-wheel drive for ordinary riding and engage the front drive mechanically when additional traction is needed.

Does the single-motor version include mechanical 4WD?

Yes. Both Power System choices include the complete selectable mechanical 2WD/4WD drivetrain.

What changes with the dual-motor version?

It adds a 750W torque-sensing front mid-drive, a second independent 48V 14.5Ah battery and a second control system. Use either motor or both together.

Is the rear motor inside a wheel?

No. It is frame mounted and transfers power to the rear axle through a chain-and-sprocket transmission.

Can the batteries be removed and charged indoors?

Yes. Unlock each battery with its key and slide it from the rail. It can also be charged while installed.

    Does the F426E have reverse?

No. It uses a bicycle-based mechanical drivetrain and has no reverse function.

Are the canopy and lights included?

No. The canopy, front lighting and hazard-flasher package, and front bumper are optional accessories.
