320 / 320E Compact Road Recumbent Trike

The TrikExplor 320 / 320E combines three equal-size 20-inch road wheels, a relatively compact layout and an adjustable rear air shock. The 320 is the pedal-powered version; the 320E adds a 48V 500W Bafang mid-drive system and a standard 48V 20Ah lithium battery.
Rear Air Suspension, Not a Suspension Seat
The KS A5-Re adjustable rear air shock is fitted to the rear suspension system, allowing air pressure to be set appropriately for the rider and conditions. The nylon-mesh seat does not use the separate leaf-spring and rubber-absorber seat suspension found on the 326 series. This is rear-wheel suspension, not full front-and-rear suspension.
Compact Wheels and Rider Position
All three wheels use 20 × 1.5-inch road-oriented tires for paved roads and suitable firm surfaces. The 37 cm seat-bottom height and compact layout may be useful to riders who prefer a higher entry position than the low-profile 326 series. Fit and ease of entry differ from rider to rider.
Pedal or Electric Configuration
320: Shimano 2 × 9 mechanical drivetrain (18 gear combinations).
320E: Bafang 48V 500W mid-drive with a single front chainring and Shimano 9-speed rear drivetrain; one 48V 20Ah battery is included as standard.
Optional second battery (+$350): The 320E supports two 48V 20Ah batteries mounted at the same time, with one at the rear rack and the second suspended beneath the cross-frame beam. Select the dual-battery electric variant ($4,249) if you want both batteries. This option is not offered on the pedal-only 320. Actual battery range varies with conditions.

Choose Your Wheel Configuration
The 320 / 320E and F320 / F320E use the same basic frame platform with different wheel configurations. The 320 has three 20 × 1.5-inch road-oriented tires; F320 has three 20 × 4.0-inch fat tires. Contact TrikExplor to discuss the setup for your usual riding surfaces.
